On the shores of Puzhal lake, Casagrand Aquagrove at Kolathur rises as a residential towers architecture, developed by Casa Grand with exclusive 2, 3 & 4 BHK apartments. Set beside the lake, along the Puzhal Ambattur Main Road, the towers frame a special waterfront address that sees large residences set against serene views of the water, combined with a contemporary skyline. The development has an area of 6.7 acres, featuring 544 homes projects spread out in Kolathur. It has an instantly recognizable Manhattan skyline glass facade and three iconic Y-shaped towers topping G+26 and G+28. The project is composed of around 85% open space and 4.5 acres of landscaped greens, with sustainable streets designed to be predominantly pedestrian and with spaces where there is no movement of vehicles.
The architecture and light are the key components of the design that has built. The relation between architecture, light and the waterfront context is the main focus of the design architecture. The configuration of the tower will be such as to maximize views outwards towards the surrounding landscape and the principles of planning for the project will place special focus on natural lighting, ventilation, Vaastu, privacy and spatial aesthetics. The 15,500 sq. ft. clubhouse located next to the promenade is a big social and recreational center, accompanied by a large swimming pool, which measures 9,000 sq. ft. Together, they produce a life-like ambiance, enabling inhabitants to stroll between private indoor areas and gardens and water-facing recreational zones.
The amenity interest of the development is reinforced due to the scale of its amenity interest. Over 95 interior and exterior facilities are planned to provide for fitness, recreation, socializing and family activities. The large landscaped spaces create a counterpoint to the high-rise towers, whilst the vehicle free areas aim to offer a safer and greener internal movement. Dense urban waterfront development makes it hard to create this same sentiment of openness in residences, but the project's waterfront location, especially the views towards Puzhal Lake for most homes, allows it to radiate this feeling.
The overall arrangement, with its distinctive glass-clad architecture, Y-shaped skeleton towers, large open spaces, landscaped green areas, views of the lake and offer a wide range of amenities. It's intended for those individuals that wish that scale and ease of a big community, but do not want to give up on being open, seeing outlets and really feeling like they are able to retreat.
