About Ghatkopar East

Ghatkopar East is a suburban residential area in East Mumbai that mostly consists of mid-rise and luxury high-rise residences. Some of the major places in this area are Neelkant Valley, Mankura, Kamraj Nagar and Pant Nagar. Some of the major projects in the area are Terraform Dwarka, Prime Vista, Vinayak Heights, Aaradhya Nine, etc.

The area is well connected via the Western and Eastern Expressways, the MG Highway and the heavily used Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road. Ghatkopar Railway Station on the Central Line serves the local transportation needs of the residents. Mumbai International Airport is about 10 km from the hotel. Ghatkopar Metro Station on Line 1 also connects it to Mumbai's monorail network.

There are various prominent schools and colleges in the vicinity such as Somaiya School, Hindi High School, PVG Vidya Bhawan School, KJ Somaiya College of Engineering and HVPS Law College. There are many nursing homes, hospitals and dispensaries in the area like Prakash Hospital, Ashirwada Heart Hospital, SMM Hospital and HJG Hindu Sabha Hospital. The area has many markets for both retail and business offices. Some of the important malls and markets are R Odeon Mall, Neelyog Plaza and Kamdaar Mall.

Ghatkopar East is an important employment area along with nearby Chembur, Vikhroli and Kurla (5 to 10 km away). Most of the offices and retail markets are located along Ghatkopar Mahul Road and Barrister Nath Pai Road.
