About Adyar

Adyar is a large and well-developed community in the southern part of Chennai. The district is located on the banks of the Adyar River and is bounded by Besantnagar in the east, Buckingham Canal in the west, Tiruvameyur in the south and Adyar River in the north. Being one of the best areas in Chennai, the locality differentiates between residential and commercial development. The locality includes Gandhi Nagar, Kasturibai Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Indira Nagar, Venkatarathnam Nagar and Shastri Nagar.
