About Alibag
Alibag is a coastal city and a municipal council in Raigad district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is part of the Mumbai metropolitan area, approximately 96 kilometers from Mumbai and 143 kilometers from Pune. The locality belongs to the Konkan district and is known for its villas, beaches and beautiful scenery. It is very prominent as a weekend stay in Mumbai and Pune. It is the shrine of Goddess Sri Padmakshi Renuka and thousands of people go there every day to worship.
