About Basavanagudi

Basavanagudi is one of the oldest residential and commercial localities in South Bangalore. DVG Road, the commercial street of Basavanagudi, is home to numerous retail businesses. Apart from this, the locality is also famous for an array of historic restaurants including the very famous Vidyarthi Bhavan. There is not much scope for new residential apartments in the area, but the price of the existing real estate is on the rise.

It is well connected through all modes of transport. There are plenty of BMTC buses to and fro from here and also few Volvo buses that connect the area with other parts of the city. The Bangalore City Railway Station is about 4.6km while the International airport is at a distance of 38km.
