Brookefield is the area that falls in the Bengaluru Urban district situated in Karnataka state, with a population of 57342. The populations of males and females are 30013 and 27329 respectively. The size area is about 4.01 square kilometers. It was founded in the late 19th century as a settlement for the Eurasian people of Bangalore. It is an area with high real estate prices and relatively new commercial roads such as ITPL road. It has started seeing a growth in residential construction since the latter half of the 1990s and especially during 2002 and onwards. With the increase in housing and office space, the demand has been increasing for many years.
