Connaught Place, formally known as Rajiv Chowk, is one of the largest financial, commercial and trade centers in New Delhi, Delhi, India. Home to several prominent Indian companies, it is New Delhi's biggest shopping, Nightlife and tourist attraction. This peaceful locality has many beautiful buildings, theatres, malls, modern schools and restaurants. Famous monuments like Jantar Mantar and Gurdwara Bangla Sahib are in their vicinity. Many residential and commercial complexes are found here. It is an expensive and posh locality. The area is popular for its extravagant shopping malls, business centers and many top tourist destinations.

The locality is popular for the market which is built in the Georgian style of architecture. The building forms two concentric circles. The outward circle holds hotels, shops, restaurants and most importantly the regal building. The middle circle holds banks, exchange houses, offices and other corporates. Central Park is a large garden area near the market, hosts cultural events and is open for walks and picnics.

There is a metro station right under Rajiv Chowk is quite easier to reach the market from any part of New Delhi. There are many buses, cabs and auto rickshaws to reach various parts of the region. The metro is normally used as transportation to reach the market.
