About Gowdanapalya
Gowdanapalya is one of the places of residence in Bangalore, India. It is south of the city, very close to the highway that leads to Kanakapura. It is encircled by Kumaraswamy Layout, Padmanabhanagar, Kadirenahalli, Uttarahalli and Chikkakalasandra. The locality is the fastest-growing area and making it one of the most conservative places to live in Bangalore. It has a significant population of mainly Kannada-speaking long-term residents. The area serves as a link between ISRO Layout / Kumaraswamy Layout and Padmanabhanagar.
It is known as the place where "Rapsri engineering industries ltd" is located. It is also known for its educational institutions. Bangalore International School, Prarthana School and Bright Way School are some of the educational institutions nearby the locality. The famous cinema theater 'Srinivasa Theater' is part of this area. It also has a park with fitness equipment and next to Dore Kere is a place where one can play badminton called usa. The area is well-served by BMTC buses. Most buses to Uttarahalli pass through the Gowdanapalya junction. The nearest Namma_Metro station is Banashankari on the Green_Line_(Namma_Metro).
