About Krishnarajapura (KR Puram)

Krishnarajapura is a suburban area in Bengaluru, surrounded by Mallasandra to the east, Aavalahalli to the north, Ramamurthy Nagar to the west, and Whitefield to the south. The locality is known for its big market, greenery and several lakes in the vicinity such as the Yelemallappa Shetty Lake, the KR Puram Lake and the Seegehalli Lake. The locality has a blend of multi-storey apartments and independent houses. Some prominent apartment complexes here are Salarpuria Sattva Celesta, Monarch Aqua, SVS Sunrise, Sobha Lake Garden, and RJ Lake Gardenia.

It has good connectivity via the ORR and the Old Madras Road. Commuting to other major cities in and around the state is easy due to the presence of KR Puram Railway Station. The KIA is situated about 35 km from the locality, and is easily accessible through KIA AC and non-AC buses
