About Madh

Madh is primarily an island located west of the western suburb of Malad. Over the years, Madh has grown from a group of fishing villages to a renowned residential and holiday destination. It also has naval bases and hosts air. Encircled by the Arabian Sea on three sides, it is the most peaceful place in Mumbai. It consists mostly of detached bungalows and some high-rise residential apartments. This is a development area close to beaches, resorts and social amenities. It is adjacent to other exclusive areas of West Mumbai like Malvani and Versova. KP Samudraa and Raheja Exotica are two of the prominent under-construction and completed high-rise residential projects in the area.

Malad is the nearest railway station which is 10 km from the locality. Ferry services between Madh and Versova provide easy access to the metro connecting other western and eastern suburbs. Road connectivity is under development and Marve Road is the only major road connecting Madh to the city. BEST buses ply to and from Malad, Borivali and other western suburbs with adequate frequency.

Additionally, Mumbai International Airport is 23 kilometers away from the local area.

St. Bonaventure High School, Sir JP High School, Gurukul English High School and Kendriya Vidyalaya INS Hamla are some of the best educational institutions located in and around the locality. Famous malls within 15 km of the area are Infiniti Malad, Harmony and Inorbit SMC Air Force, Atlantis and Mangalmurti are some of the famous hospitals in and around the locality.
