About Mulund

Mulund is a suburb northeast of Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is a railway station on the Central Railway line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. It is the first railway station on the outskirts of Mumbai on the Central Railway line. Thane railway station belongs to the Thane district. It is found at the foothills of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, with easy access to the Eastern Expressway and Navi Mumbai via the Mulund-Airoli Bridge. It marks the end of the city of Mumbai.
