About Naroda

Naroda is a rapidly developing district of Ahmedabad, northeast of Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat. In the 21st century, Naroda was transformed from an abandoned industrial area into a desirable residential area. Located 8 km from Ahmedabad International Airport on the SP Ring Road, Naroda is located on the emerging Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad-Vadodara (GAV) corridor.

It is a good location with convenient facilities like industrial complexes, hospitals and shopping malls nearby. There is a state school of commerce and institutions nearby the locality. Among the many schools are international schools and kindergartens. It has temples like Lord Sankar Temple, Ranchodrai, Jain Temple of Satyanarayan and Padmavati Mataji, Hanumanji Mandir, Ayyappa Temple, Gokulia Hanuman and Ganesh Temple. There is Mahaprabhuji Bethag, a famous place of pilgrimage for Vaishnavites. It is close to the intersection of National Highway No. 8 and National Highway 59. It is located near Bapunagar. Kalupur and Krishnanagar are also 5 km away. Sardar Patel Bypass passes before Naroda.

Naroda railway station is the major railway station in the city. Kalupur railway station is about 8.5 km, airport (SVP airport is about 8 km) and bus stand (Krishnanagar about 5 km) is 10 km from Locality.
