About Vasai West

Vasai West is described as a residential area consisting of low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise apartments as well as detached houses located in the most desirable low-cost residential suburbs of the western part of the Mumbai metropolitan region. Along with Vasai (East), Virar, Nalasopara, Naigaon and Mira-Bhayandar are some places around Vasai West. The local area is surrounded by many green areas. Some of the major residential projects in Vasai West are Shantee Housing Roman Residency, Kaul Builders Mirchandani Gardens, Kingston Tower and DBR Constructions Paramount Heights.

It is connected to the main MMR zones by the Mumbai Suburban Railway and the NH-48 highway (Mumbai-New Delhi). Public transport in the area is provided by Vasai Virar Transport Service (VVTS) which runs to nearby Mira-Bhayandar, Thane and Mulund districts.

Citizen English High School, St. Augustine’s High School, St. Francis High School and Vidyavardhini College of Engineering and Technology are some of the main educational institutes located in Vasai West. Dattani Square Mall, Tania Planet Shopping Mall, and Vardhaman Shopping Centre are some malls nearby the locality. There are some of the major hospitals in the area include Cardinal Gracias Memorial Hospital, Krishna Multispecialty Hospital, Navjeevan Hospital, etc. The area is close to Yazoo Park, a family amusement park situated within the Rustomjee Global City.

Some industrial hubs like KT Industrial Park, Bluebell Commercial Complex, Hira Industrial Estate, Vasai Taluka Industrial Cooperative and Neelkanth Industrial Estate are located at a distance of 4-5 km from Vasai West. The West Line connects Vasai West with major employment centers such as Goregaon, Andheri, Malad and Bandra Kurla Complex.
