About Yelahanka New Town
Yelahanka New Town is established locality placed along the Bellary Road in the northern outskirts of Bengaluru. The locality has emerged as a key real estate destination due to proximity to the airport, good connectivity and availability of quality infrastructure. Other prominent areas close are Sahakar Nagar, Vidyaranyapura, Hebbal and Yelahanka. The locality majorly has horizontal residential developments including apartment complexes and plotted developments. Some of the key projects in the vicinity are GS Ajantha Vihar, Inland Edilon, SLV Orchid, NCC Urban Nagarjuna Aster Park, Aruna Pinewoods, and Purva Venezia.
The locality is about 19 km from the city centre and is well-connected via Bellary Road (NH-44) and Yelahanka Junction railway station. Bellary Road also links the locality with the Outer Ring Road, which further extends its reach to other established parts of the city. The Karnataka Government has also approved a 29.62 km long extension of Line 4 to Kempegowda International Airport, under Phase 2B of Namma Metro.
